Following the amazing success of the All Wednesday Fanzine in November 2018 – we sold out of 800 copies and raised £909 for the Children’s Hospital Charity – lots of people have asked if we are going to produce another fanzine. So, despite calling the last one a “one-off” we have decided to give it another go. We plan to publish the fanzine during late February in time for the home games against Swansea and the Blunts. We plan to raise money for MacMillan this time and to route money raised through the Sheffield Hero that is John Burkill – “The Man with the Pram” – to add to his fantastic fundraising campaign of £1m for MacMillan who provide services and support to people and families affected by cancer.

We will contact former fanzine editors who didn’t feature last time to try to get contributions from them, we want to feature some archive stuff from those fanzines but we also want new stuff too. What help do we want from Wednesdayites? Either a great memory or story (funny, sad or anything in-between) of being a Wednesdayite would be good. And, as the November fanzine showed, we are delighted to include anything that is Wednesday or football related – the world is your oyster, as they say. One thing it would be good to include is some stories from Wednesdayites (or their families/friends) who have been affected by cancer, particularly people who have received support from MacMillan or other support organisations. It’s all part of the Wednesdayite “family” experience and we hope there are positive stories to share.

We can’t guarantee to publish everything we receive but it would be great to publish some.
